I Am Lost

GMA's

By Mother CombsPublished 2 years ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

I am lost, drowning

In a sea of memories

Of things that once was

Of things that could have been

I am lost, floundering

In a maze of feelings

Of love and loss

Of joy and sorrow

I am lost, struggling

In a world of uncertainty

Of what the future has in store

If I will ever find my way back home

I am lost, but not alone

Your spirit will always be beside me

And together

We will find our way

I am lost, but one day I will be found

I will find my way into the light

Back to the warmth

Back to love

Back in my Grandma’s arms

RIP, until we meet again

Grandmother Bonnie, 2 weeks before she passed away

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
