I am like a rainbow, full of every shade..

Sometimes bravest yellow, sometimes carefree jade.

But then there is my grey side, when I hide behind the clouds. When amber doubt and the blues of drought can make me feel afraid.

In search of greener pastures, I seek a golden pot...So hustle, grind, and colour blind, forget the treasure I’ve already got.

But luckily like the weather, each day I can look again..for my burgundy heart to love and laugh, and breakthrough the blackest pain.

I think we are all just walking rainbows, and though some days may seem duller,

While prisons of skin are our covers, inside we’re eternal prisms of colour.
