I am grateful,

For every soul that holds some light,

I’m enchanted by the love they bring,

They share with me the songs of life.

Grateful I am,

To those who sang what’s on my mind,

In rhythm, verse, and art combined—

A harmony of humankind.

I am grateful,

Their love unsure of where to go,

But still they gave, with voice aglow—

A soul once lost, now dancing there.

Beautiful, kind, never unkind,

To those who hurt, it’s love they find.

Grateful I am,

No fame required, no grand career,

I raise my voice for all to hear,

To shout it loud and make it clear:
