I am a rainbow

StI am a rainbow, what I am is not the words, however colorful that have been thrown at me. I am a rainbow, I shine brightly for those whose colors have gone even when I feel black white and grey, I am a rainbow, in the silence for myself, so I can be the change I want to see in the world and so I can be direct, red hot love for those who don't have a safe place to be themselves, who hide in the dark because the world has told them their colors are wrong in so many ways, I am a rainbow for the beauty I see in others who may not even see how beautiful they are, because socially, they don't fit in like a puzzle piece trying to fit into a square of perfection that truly does not even exist, I am a rainbow, to remind myself, that I am not the labels you've placed on me, or the harm I've done to myself, or the streets in which I lived for nearly a decade to escape the hate and toxicity you showed me when all I was seeking was love and acceptance, in a world that only sees me as autistic, or strange, queer and questioning,

I am a rainbow, because I am not one color, I still don't fit into your box but this time I am ok with it, and now I use this place to create space for others who do not have it, for them, for you, for myself,
