I have fallen once,
I have fallen Twice and thrice,
I have fallen again and again
And I will rise and rise forever.
~
I've suffered without hope.
Over hate and betrayal.
I'm a victim, of unknown challenges.
Above them all, I will rise
~
Like desert dust, I will rise.
I dropped so hard, it was excruciating.
Like the sun, I'll shine
Like the moon, I will be dazzling.
~
I am a nobody today,
Tomorrow things will change
I will be someone with a title
My life will be celebrated
~
Like the ocean tides
I shall regulate myself.
By rising up and moving
Like honey, my life will be sweet
~
Planting a tree causes it to rise.
Neither do I; I'm planted like a tree.
I will rise and rise in front of my haters.
I will keep rising until I perish.

Nice poem
Your belief in your own transformation and the celebration of your future successes is inspiring, may your journey be filled with the sweetest of victories as you rise above all obstacles, amazing work!
Great rising ups are always stronger. Nice Glori.
This was so poignant and emotional! I loved it!
Gloria, You Skillfully weave emotions into words, painting a picture of a person grappling with feelings of inadequacy or anonymity. Lines such as "No accolades or praise, / No pedestal or fame" capture the absence of external validation that often shapes our perception of success and worth. Instead, the poem embraces the quieter moments of introspection, where personal growth and resilience take precedence over fleeting recognition.
