Hurt

I never knew

that you could make me

feel so blue,

leaving a cavity

that lingers like a

bottomless pit

in my heart,

that turns it to frost,

causing it to turn

into an icy powder blue color

in appearance,

then cobalt blue,

navy,

eventually fading into black.
