everyone talks about how healing hurts.

how it’ll take some time,

and some pain,

and mistake after mistake,

but you’ll be healed.

the pain.

the sorrow.

the anger.

the pent up feelings and wrongdoings.

they pretend it doesn’t exist,

that it doesn’t affect them

because they are healed.
