Hurt Has an Appetite
Pain is not victimless

Ignorance is a cage where rage coils.
Blame is the snake waiting to strike.
What we ignore, cuts and taints.
Hurt has an appetite,
that preys on our soul,
and spews our grief.
On sickness,
the beast...
feeds
