Hungry for him

I need to taste his love divinely made for me

Hungry for him

Hungry for his life, his kiss, his touch

for the way his silence could punish so much

he never had to raise his hand

just stood too still, and I’d understand

He walked like sin that dressed as grace

smiled with shadows curled on his face

his lies were soft, like silk, like breath

I wore them all, and called them death

Nights he came with bruised delight

burning slow through rooms of white

his name a wound I dared not speak

my spine would fold, my mouth go weak

He made me hunger past the bone

left me hollow, cracked, alone

yet still I begged — not for release

but for that ache that mimics peace

I fed on shame, I drank his fire

let ruin wear me down to wire

until one dusk, without his name

I whispered, once, and felt no flame

He’ll never know the day I broke

not with a scream, but breath I spoke

not loud, not bold — just mine, at last

his shadow trembling in my past
