Humans

Humans are beautiful, but we're not invincible, especially to our demons.

Human are beautiful,

But humans are not invincible.

Humans are weak,

But humans are unique.

I am not a marionette:

Why do some try to control my silhouette?

I am not a toy:

Why do some try to take my joy?

I am not a mistake:

Why do some try to make me ache?

Can I run?

Or have they won?

(You know we're already done!)

They think of me as a fool,

Should I follow by their rule?

(You can't.)

They think I'm not enough,

Should I act like I'm tough?

(Do I need to chant?)

I am a fighter,

Hoping to make this world brighter.

(Give up.)

I am a work of art,

Painting my own heart.

(Shut up.)

I am a lover,

Just trying to have some cover.

(Your time is up.)

"Human are beautiful,

But humans are not invincible.

Humans are weak,

But humans are unique."

With my last breath,

I knew it was my time--death.
