humanimality

this road leads to nowhere

By ⸘jason alan‽Published 5 years ago 1 min read

what we are is a master-clash

humansplaining away the living

leave no phoenix, only ashes

caught between my humanimality

separated from the kingdom

dominated by ourselves

what's left is not partisan

what's right is easy to tell

demand unshared comfort now

since we can't take it with us to hell

the unhaving don't matter

they will never know the difference

superiority misunderstood

basically lacking communication

from where we have all come

to where we are all headed

deranged and consoled

on this road; it leads to nowhere

travelling luxury lined caskets

sold as hope and salvation

internally burning sustenance

but we know we are still alive

for fear of the all-encompassing fact

that we all one day will die.

and so very mistakenly convinced,

we think that is the end
