How to Slowly Break a Woman

Words hurt.

Tell a woman

who lives

outside

of your

unconceived

notions

to behave

she will

but only because

every scolding

is a lashing

to her spirit,

every glare

breaks off a piece

of her confidence,

every two-faced comment

destroys

her self respect

until

there is

nothing left

but a shell

who doesn't care

enough

to fight

you.

This is brilliant. And true. We've all been a bit broken by these actions. Great writing. Looking forward to reading more very soon! 👍😊💙👏
