How to Leave without Saying Goodbye
Instructions for Disappearing
By Tyler Clark (he/they)Published 5 months ago • 1 min read
Imagine you can vanish. You're a ghost
wrapped in meat; we all are.
Travel the world untethered. Float away,
ride an ectoplasmic wave.
Goodbyes tug you back, un-freeing.
Let go. Shed the guilt
of not letting them saying everything they needed to.
They had their chance.
They had their entire lives.
So did you.
