Stress is omnipresent
It's brazen and sneaky
often gate-crashes —
always entering through
cracks and crevices.
No matter how impregnable
your fort may be,
tranquility needs coaxing.
It is very important
for a life of peace,
so we have to put effort
to invite it in.
of course by
sustainable means
So, I take my tea,
stroll in the garden,
make arts of all kinds,
go for daily nature walk,
watch flora and fauna
with mindfulness
read and write a lot,
and that's how
I glean my tranquility,
consciously, bit by bit.
For it is the antidote
against the sabotaging stress.

Good job and love your suggestions for relieving stress. I read and write a lot and sometimes work in my flower garden if not too hot and humid. Most times I like to color as well for that skill is relaxing as well.
Tranquility isn't easy to come by, indeed. Well said, Seema.
