How to feel Burntout

A lesson Well Learned

By Kristina BrulePublished 11 days ago 1 min read

How to feel burntout

Don’t stop, keep going. You’ll sleep when you’re dead.

Don’t disappoint, don't be lazy.

Grind grind grind. That's all that's on my mind.

Shut up, don't stop, don't listen to them.

No time for sleep, no time to eat.

Pay the bills.

Don't you dare run for the hills.

Friends? What are those?

We’ll see how far that goes.

All work no play makes you a dull boy.

Oh, don’t act so coy.

Bills paid, meals rarely made

As the smile fades, the bank waves.

“Hello, my favorite client.. You look…well worked.

You should rest, I must confess.

Your account has made no progress.”
