How She Healed

Healing after heartbreak through self-love and strength

By Fahad KhanPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

She loved him like the sky loves rain

softly, fully, without refrain.

But storms don’t stay, they pass and go,

leaving her heart to overflow.

She broke in silence, cried at night,

whispered his name beneath moonlight.

But healing comes, not all at once,

It lingers slowly, in quiet months.

She found herself in the morning sun,

A gentler life had just begun.

With every breath, she chose to grow,

to let him fade, to let love go.

She learned that losing isn’t the end,

but space to grow, a chance to mend.

She stitched her soul with softer thread,

with books she read and tears she shed.

Now mirrors show a different face,

no longer lost, but full of grace.

She walks alone, but not undone,

her healing, slow, is not yet done.

But piece by piece, she reappears,

a woman built from broken years.
