To all of those I’ve ever loved

And promptly then forgot

❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔

I’m sorry for the longing looks

Followed by grey rocks

🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨

I won’t pretend I didn’t hear

Your gentle whispers in my ears

🌬️˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

If only I’d remembered

Maybe I'd be telling this to you now

˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

I swear I wasn’t dodging you

Or trying to deny what little we had

˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

Every moment our hands intertwined

Was a healing for my soul

˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

If our lips have ever touched

I'd be honored just to know

˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

Your name tucked in the back

Of my mind’s drawer all these broken years

🌬️˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖

I understand now

Why you hated me

🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨

Why, after I moved away

No one said your name, not even me

❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔❔

You deserved to be remembered

That’s what I'm doing here and now
