How Much a Dollar Cost?

A Concept Piece

By Joshua GargiuloPublished about a year ago 1 min read

“How much a dollar cost?”

The question is detrimental as I analyze my thoughts.

A piece of gum smeared next to George Washington,

Does that mean all value is lost?

Suppose we ponder life with such a simple, yet complex thought;

Does the message become apparent through connecting the dots,

Or are we simply pedestrians lost in the written art?

We are all in search of the truth,

But reality often leaves our perception so tart.

So where do we start?

Take a step back and see the metaphorical court.

Judged by our peers for thoughts of unholy sorts,

Yet Plato is quoted alongside religious figures.

I retort;

Life is much more than falling in line with queens and lords.
