Hey you

We are at that a soul

Blended. Moulded to set alone.

And I’ve got this itch, while it’s hard to admit

It’s easy to feel and it’s pure and beside you

Oh it’s a tough itch to climb

Yet alone to swallow

But these braces in place won’t hold us apart

Oh no

Oh love are you holding up?

Cause lately I’ve felt the space drowning our hearts

Aren’t we just something else

Oh no we’re tangled in the sheets

How lovely are we...

Oh I’ve got this itch

While it’s hard to admit

It’s easy to feel and it’s pure and beside you

As this distantce gets hard

Love fondles the heart and the wonders that it holds

I guess it’s just us

Oh love are you holding up?

Cause lately I’ve felt the space drowning our hearts

Aren’t we just something else

Oh no we’re tangled in the sheets

How lovely are we...

Behind “HLAW”

Back in 2016 I wrote this song and have had it sitting around for 4 years.

As for the message. I wrote about that weird lingo moment in a relationship that’s on the rocks.

Bitter sweet metaphor of being “tangled in the sheets”. Bada bing bada boom that’s all folks.
