How Do I Live
How do I live without you near.
No one here I can hold dear.
No hugs no sweet talking tonight.
Your no where near that isn’t right.
I write your name like a child on my iPad,
I am always yours and you’re always my lad.
I know you won’t ever come back to me,
So how do I live if there’s no you and me.
The days drag on, the nights feel long,
I search for you, but you are gone.
The world still turns, but I stand still,
Loving you against you will.
I call your name into the air,
Hoping somehow you’ll be there.
But silence answers, cold and true,
A love once real, now lost with no you.
So tell me how do I move on ahead,
When all I’ve known is love you said
you’re not here, so what is left? for me
Just memories of how love used to me.
