Darkness surrounds me,
A shadow that won't fade.
No hope in sight,
Just an endless charade.
The future is bleak,
The past filled with pain.
No reason to fight,
Just constant strain.
The tears fall like rain,
As I drown in my sorrow.
No one to comfort me,
Just a lonely tomorrow.
But even in the darkness,
A glimmer of light shines through.
The thought that tomorrow,
Maybe my hopes will come true.
