Hope is the Thing with Feathers

Hope is like a delicate bird with soft feathers that perches quietly within the human soul. It is ever-present, residing deep within us, and it sings a continuous, wordless melody a tune that expresses resilience and optimism. This song of hope never ceases, even when circumstances grow tough; it sings on tirelessly, providing comfort and solace.

In the midst of a storm, when everything seems lost or overwhelming, the song of hope is heard most clearly. It is during these challenging moments, akin to being caught in a fierce gale, that hope’s melody becomes even sweeter and more profound. The storm must be incredibly severe an extreme force to disturb or silence this little bird that has brought warmth and comfort to so many hearts.

Hope is resilient; it has persevered through the most chilling, desolate places and survived the most uncharted and daunting seas. Even in the most difficult and trying of circumstances, this hopeful bird has never demanded anything in return. It never once asked for even a crumb of sustenance from me, showing that hope, in its purest form, is selfless and giving, expecting nothing back from those it comforts.
