Honey Bee

By Jeanine

By Jeanine ChristopherPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

How beautiful you are

Dancing to the beat of life

Spreading pollen

So pollination is only right

How beautiful you are

Suckling the sweet nectar

From a beautiful flower

Don’t count the days

Only count the hours

That grand old party

Is trying to take all Our power

We as a people can not have that

Our lives matter too

Black Panthers had it right

Power to the People

Because sometimes

That white ain’t right

Like a hummingbird

It’s as though no one can see you

Intercept a flight

It’s fight not flight with you

Ones life could only be lived

But so true, yet

Death is the only pain

That hurts more than pain itself

Trust and faith

Play hand in hand

As if it began as life began itself

May I ask what it is

That you are seeking

To hide from the truth

Is a blessing being blocked

That’s just hindering

It’s like pulling a tooth

I don’t want to lose myself with you

If I can’t lose myself with you

And it’s only because

I find us so beautiful

As we are

Not what we could be

As the sun chases the sky

As the wind blows

Through all the trees

There’s nothing more beautiful

than that their little honey bee 🐝
