Homemade inside
I don’t want to think of it anymore

I have had many homes,
Places where I reside,
Places where I live, places I dream,
Places I hide.
Places I can’t dream at all,
Places I have to hide my pain.
But do not feel anything bad about these places, before I finish this refrain,
I have had so many places,
And in each I am never the same.
I always create my unspoiled profile
The stuff that makes me, ‘me’
Deep inside where no one can see
A place I call “homemade inside”
And no matter where I live, I know it’s temporary
And my heart will heal
It’s temporary
A place you live,
Because the stuff that is homemade inside of you
Is something no one can steal.
