My home is where I let my hair down,

Letting the wind take care of it for me.

My home is where I feel free to speak my mind,

I don't have to worry about being judged harshly.

My home is where I can be myself,

The real version of me that everyone else takes pains not to see.

My home is where I can be funny,

I don't have to worry about the timing or the punchline.

My home is where I exist in my own world,

Where no one knows me but me.

My home is where I feel comfortable,

Where my inner thoughts are never an inconvenience.

My home is with my family,

Where I can be a child and never have to grow up.

My home is more than just a four-walled room,

It exists wherever my heart desires.

My home is where I am free to say what I want to say.

My home is where I let myself live in the moment.

My home is where I don't have to be afraid of the darkness,

Afraid of what might lurk behind me.

My home is where I feel safe and unafraid,

Secure in the knowledge that nothing will happen to me here.

My home is a place where laughter fills the air,

Where my words are taken with good humor.

My home is where I come to rest my head,

Where no one can sneak up and catch me unawares.

My home is where I am accepted for who I am,

And where no one would ever dare to judge or criticize.

My home is a place that brings peace and happiness,

One that I could never leave behind.

My home is where you can always find me,

Where I will always come to rest my head.

My home is where I have the freedom to express myself,

The whole of me that no one else can quite understand.

My home is always there when I need it,

A place where love abounds and no one feels alone.

My home is a world free from prejudice, judgment, or hate.

My home is a place where everyone is welcome,

Where anyone can feel comfortable being themselves.

My home is where I have friends that accept me for who I am,

No matter what.

My home is always there for me,

Even when my family isn't around.

My home is with the people who love me unconditionally,

Who will support me through the best and the worst.

My home is where I can be myself,

And never have to worry about pleasing anyone else.

My home is a place where I know I am safe,

No matter what form it takes.

My home is where I can always be myself,

Not just for an hour or two, but all the time.

My home is where I am loved,

Even when most everyone else has forgotten about me.

My home is something that no one can take away from me,

And it lives inside my heart even when I'm on my own.

My home is an extension of my heart and soul,

One that will never leave me even when everything around me changes.

My home is where my pains are soothed,

And the darkness that follows me is never allowed to settle in.

My home is where I can breathe out all my troubles,

And feel the stillness and contentment that follows

My home is where I can hide from the dangers of the outside world,

Where no one has to know what troubles me.

My home is where I belong,

And it will always be there waiting for me when I need it most.
