Words take flight tonight
My blight shown from a new light
Unsightly for now
My home has become
Tilled soil sown reaping freedom
From you as from me
Until we all see
Learning inadvertently
Freedoms truest means
For we need to grow
From old roots not seeds we mow
To meet what we know
Tell the strobe lights no
For the glow of our globe shows
Ideology
Study ology
So all as we can go home
To the times before
Super big box stores
Providing forever more
Our lazy adore
Yet feel at your core
Sore yearning reels you away
Dreaming of a place
Where there is no race
Pure and simply being graced
While building our homes
Out of sticks and stones
Forging what can not be grown
Sustainably honed
We regain our strength
Individually for all
Undividedly
Finding who you are
To provide community
Where it is needed
And being given
What you need when you need it
By your friend next door
Not some super store
Producing for consuming
With no true meaning
We split their seaming
Sewing dreams teeming with soul
Working one great goal
Toil over our soil
To recoil and foil these plans
All out of control
We only need you
To feel your best providing
Your good or service
Whatever that means
What you love to do provides
What your neighbors need
To feel back at home
You probably do not know
What you want to sew
Whether it be seeds
Or shoes to walk to and fro
You will learn to know
Now my home feels home
Happy to produce for free
Give more than you need
Without stress on earth
None live with girth while none starve
For we all work hard
