You're the meaning of home to me.

My bright shining sun when the clouds form. A perfect sincere smile when gloom fills my mind. A well lived life is full of seeing the bizarre and unknown and grand exciting experiences. But what is a life well lived without the perfect companion. Smiles that form from the randomness of talking, from the silliness of jokes to the happiness that bursts from you. Sharing each other's lives and being true is what a life well lived will surely do.

The way you always trust that I'll never lead you astray, that by following me and standing by my side is always the right way. Pushing the boundaries of what's possible and expanding our comfort zones. Piece by piece and experience by experience, we grow through our time to a more complete version of ourselves. We grow into who want to be, not only for ourselves, but for each other. The petty arguments followed by a cozy soft blanket cuddle session... Not a day goes by that I would dream of it not happening. Even in the dark, there is always a bright light that shines. You can't have the good without the bad. A whole and fullness of love is what it takes. Accepting and forgiving, compromising and agreeing. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Now as the time goes by and the distance grows wider, I dream about this into the night. My mistakes and losses that I have incurred as result. True love never fails and will surely never die. So much to my dismay that I have gone astray, my heart still beats for you every year from May until May. Every day I dream upon when you'll be in my arms again, a dream that couldn't come true sooner. However long it may be or how bleak things may seem, you'll always live right here, in my heart is where you'll always be.
