What is a home?

Maybe you already know?

But we’re you ever told. You can’t have a home without a house, but you can have a house without a home…. It can be made out of brick, sticks, wood or stone. It’s something we create with love; together or on your own. That can’t be sold. It just becomes a house until made to a new home.

A home is where we decorate; so we can focus in our zone. A home is where family, friends gather; who we get to better know. A home is meant for personal privacy. Where we can relax and unwind. Maybe even sip some wine. A home is a place we can feel comfortable alone. A home is a place where we can learn and grow. Where you can teach a daughter how to sow and a son how to throw. Where the dogs even have a schedule. A home is a place where stories are told with memories we hold. Around the fire when it’s cold and in the pool when the heat is to bold. It’s a place that may age but never gets old. A home is supposed to be a safe place we can go…..

And that is what makes a house a home.
