Home, In My World

This is my personal homecoming

Walking back slowly to my kingdom

I grab the knob gently and turn it with grace.

It receives my entrance and brightens my face.

The calm sound of relaxation soothes my hectic mind.

I breathe out and breathe in and allow myself to unwind.

I inhale the beauty that surrounds my being.

It brings me joy from my pain.

This solitude helps keep me sane.

Breathing deeply I allow my eyes to close

and my mind take me high to journeys never told.

I enter a comatose state –

dead to the world, dead to the fake.

Most of my peers don’t understand how I chill.

It’s not meant to explain to them – just as long as I know how to stay real.

It’s a world full of my deepest dreams that are destined to come true.

It’s serenity and tranquil belongs to me.

You’re welcome to share – the reality’s waiting on you.

Only confident men and women that are true within

are able to enjoy the passion that start in the middle and work its way in.

Come along all my friends.

Share my world.
