It is love and peace in one
The feeling of being accepted
By those around you
More than you were accepted
Earlier in life
Just being here is comforting
Wanting to stay forever
A place where I know I am safe
Secure like never before
In my life
There are no bullies here
No one to knock me down
They all lift me up and support me
In everything I do and say
Every decision made
I have seen the mean world
In other people’s eyes and I
Am lucky to have peace, knowing
I am not alone here
I am home
