I have a home. I make my home.

By SheRockSciencePublished 4 years ago 1 min read
This poem was written as I drew it--not composed beforehand.

I have a home wherever I go.

I make my home wherever I go.

My home is a part of me,

of what I let others see,

where we all can be

in our shared reality.

A home is based in connections.

Place, person, smell, or sound—

A home is something you’ve found.

You opened your heart,

held out your hand, gave and received.

Let yourself expand.

A home is simple to understand.

Open the door.

Let others in.

Take their lives for a spin.

Together win.

Walk along side in the moon’s light.

Find your wany and home will be there too.

In each direction you take flight.

A home will always just feel right.

Little touches make home-home.

The perfect cuppa to start the day,

the best way.

Smells of good food

Something hidden for just me. Mine.

Adventure. Outside.

Family. Friends.

Cocoon.

Here lays my home.
