Homage to the Dancing Lady
I'm sorry, I judged you

Dancing Lady
I'm sorry but I judged you
for dancing in the front row
Your bright pink shirt
a heavy contrast in the grey evening
Your hair a mess of bushy brown
Your baggy clothes not unlike a clown
But worn in honest gaudiness
I'm sorry, but I judged you, because of your awkwardness
Because I'm not as brave as you
to live a life so true.

Which I've left "there" for seekers to seek
Though I lack the grandeur of that Pirate King
Perhaps these pebbles can be a light
In this life, this laughing tale
