Joy and laughter filled the air,
As we decked the halls with care.
Good tidings and cheer,
For the holiday season is here.
Surprise, surprise, surprise! Today was definitely a surprise. When I woke up in the morning and had my breakfast, I followed my normal routine of going to the backyard garden for some nature therapy.
I always loved this time of day when the world was asleep and only I was awake to witness the wonders of Mother Nature. It was like having a secret adventure. Bundled up in warm layers, I stepped outside. However, the morning serenity was absent on this particular day.
That's because I was not the only one awake. From my vantage point, I could see neighboring backyards that were usually empty at this time of day were now filled with kids pulling wagons of trinkets and putting up decorations. The high-pitched chitter-chatter of their voices filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere that was quite different from the usual peace and quiet of the morning.
It wasn't a bad change to start the day with such high-energy vibes, especially since it was the holiday season. So, I went inside to grab a few trinkets of my own to join in the decorating.

Holiday Season Mood & Preparation
I can feel the holiday season mood, everywhere I go. The spirits are high. Green and red ornaments are everywhere I look. Kids are stocking up their stock. The streets are filled with running kids. Everyone is ready for the upcoming holiday. So I went to the attic, grabbing the box filled with trinkets and ornaments and begin with the task, with a cup of hot.
