Wielding virtue as if it were a sword

Severing the tyrant from those of the Lord

A medieval martyr manifesting magical means

Something like Jack, like Jack and his beans

A heroine. grafted in, purged of sin

--

A damsel from domremy is she

Her powers pummeled punitively

Ravaging rebels religiously

Rapacious words did she bellow

Coloring the ivory tower

Staining it yellow

---

The spirit spoke in her soul

choosing words — — —

words from which she did not know

Appalling adventure into the abyss

--

Absolving affliction, never to miss

Accusations hurled but not to stick.

only to later be burned like a wick

Hold the cross higher

she said to the liar

For the work of the lord

She never did tire
