In the quiet corners of my mind,

Where memories softly intertwine,

There lives a love, a friendship pure,

For a woman I adore, though time’s obscure.

Thirteen years have come and gone,

Yet still, my heart beats a familiar song.

In every laugh and every tear,

Her spirit whispers, ever near.

We shared our dreams, our secret fears,

Through countless days and fleeting years.

Though distance stretched its endless arms,

Our bond remained, untouched by harm.

In silent nights, I often find,

Her laughter echoes in my mind.

A best friend’s love, so rare, so true,

A flame that time could not subdue.

Though paths diverged, and oceans lay,

Between our souls, so far away,

My heart still holds a sacred place,

For memories of her gentle grace.

And as the years continue on,

I cherish every moment gone.

For in my heart, she’ll always be,

My best friend, my lost love, eternally.
