Watch. Listen. See.

I encourage you to stop where you are

Open a window, let the Sun in

Let your pores absorb the rays

Listen to the way the sun calls you into the light

the warmth

the growth

Leave the window open at night

Sit by it

Watch

Listen

See

Breathe in slowly... deeply

Exhale slowly... release

Feel the oxygen fill your lungs and escape them

What do you hear? What do you see? What do you smell?

What do you feel? Where does this take your mind?

Now live there...

Even for just this moment

Close your eyes for a bit

Breathe in slowly... deeply

Exhale slowly... release

Listen to your lungs

Feel the gentle smile grow in your heart... your soul

Listen to the way your lungs thank you

The way they love your body for not giving up

The way your body takes care of itself on its own for you

Live there

Even for just this moment

That's F R E E D O M

G R O W T H

Reach for the feeling your spirit desires

With your eyes closed imagine a garden

Your garden

You’re a nurturer

You see others in your garden and they all seek the love you have found within

You now provide healing

They have all come to the right place

You will only do what you can for them but they must do the rest

You are their Sun and you will shine your rays on them

You are their Moon and you will guide them in the darkest of places

You are their water that flows and flows and you quench their thirst

You do what you can but they must do the rest

You can’t absorb for them

You can’t heal for them

You can’t drink for them

You are the provider of love, light, breath, water

You give them freedom and independency of choices

It is because you love deeply

You love from within

You finally open your eyes to see yourself in front of your window once again

Your mind bringing about train station thoughts

You begin to sink into the abyss of sorrow

Your heart holding weights

You being to believe every thought that ascends

Finally, you lift your head and see the Sun and the Moon staring at you

Looking into the windows of your soul

Lifting your heart

Calming your mind

They hold you

They hold your soul

And they speak to you,

“Don’t you know we are always with you. We create the oasis with your tears. We grow flowers with the bright rays of your smile.”

The Sun spoke only,

“I keep you warm when you have no blanket. On cloudy days I shine through the clouds to remind you how my love for you only seems like it has fled.”

Then the Moon faces you with a gentle yet firm smile and spoke to you, “I shine in your darkest of places. I shine with all of the stars for you. I whisper to the stars for them to position themselves so you can align with Orion's belt at the right time. For what is light without darkness and darkness without light. As long as I exist you will know that the Sun is always here too.”

The vision fades out and you are shown birds using aged debris for a home

Singing while they build

You know now freedom is a cycle

Freedom requires building, breaking down, helping others, allowing others to help you

You take all of this in

You are reminded to always return to the source

This brings your soul much peace

This reminds you that you don’t have to do it all on your own

Because as you love and care for others

You learn that others also love and care for you
