I light the lanterns, but no one will see them.
Flickering in the corners of my mind.
Each glow is a thought I can’t speak,
A secret warmth I keep locked inside.
The night outside swallows the streets.
But here, the light bends around me.
No footsteps break this quiet fire.
No voices dim its steady flame.
It hums with everything I can’t say,
A private sky hanging in my chest.
And in its glow, I am complete—
A soul quietly lit, and wholly mine.

Poem lover, word collector, and believer in the quiet magic of language. I write to remember, to heal, and to find beauty in the spaces between silence and sound. Every poem is a heartbeat — a small proof that feelings can become art.
