Hidden Kisses

It was touching—

My lips on yours,

The moment enduring public

Makes you nervous

Admit it. Admitted. Omit it.

The thought of hesitation

It does grow with anticipation.

Admit it. Admitted. Omitted

From everyone’s POV is our PDA

Love grows in mysterious ways

It gets serious,

Has a role to play

On theory of mind

And I have this theory in mind that you prefer hidden kisses

Admit it.

Admittedly I’m with it

We all have a role to play

So I’ll roll with it.

If it’s just fitting

Like tux and gown

And growth consists of

Ups and downs

And I’m so glad you stuck around I’ll admit it.

Has anyone else just been making it up as they go along? Have you gotten so far from where you started that finding your way back seems impossible?

Well— reach.
