Here is what I fear

and what I dream

By Melody HoagPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Here is what I fear:

To not being able to give my child the best, be it the best therapy, the best schools, the best clothes, the best whatever it is she needs.

For her to feel that she is not to able to become who she wants to become.

Needing carpal tunnel surgery because we cannot afford a house because of the medical bills.

Here are the things I dream:

To be able to do with my time what I need: be it pick up my child, take my dad to the doctor, have a massage, whatever it is I need the time for.

To be able to afford to feed all the strays that come my way; the dogs, the children, the crows, the wild and the tame;

And to dream the dreams I want to dream.
