FOR YOU

Been here once before;

Thought I'd found the one.

Lost in love and lost out to lust,

Lost my moment in the sun.

The day I met you, my old friend,

I wanted things to change.

From last time to this time, this I decree;

This will not end estranged.

Faithfully, strongly, religiously, humbly,

I'm ready to be there for you.

But permit me a moment to be sure,

That I'm emotionally here for me too...

    I am who I am, free and spontaneous, sincere and bright, open and fearless, taking gains and losses as they come, clear-headed and sensible, not pandering, not blindly following, not belittling, I am who I am, not refuting, not explaining, and not afraid of being defined.
