She sings to be heard

Spreading her thoughts and feelings like wildflowers

Chaotic yet beautiful as she tries to see the world through rose colored glasses

Not out of desperation, for she is not naive

But out of the pursuit of happiness

She sees the world around her for what it truly is, for who people are and not the mask they show the world

She digs deep below the surface to understand, to get to the core of what is raw and true

At the core she finds beauty in all things as she chooses to look towards the light and not into the spaces where light cannot reach

Those who experience her cannot hide behind walls as she will turn each brick into a home that welcomes and nurtures their soul

She views the construct of time as moments, fleeting in the wind

If she does not grasp them as they pass her to truly appreciate them

Their lessons and meaning will not fuel her soul

She does not understand the ideology of being too much, as there is no such thing in the world she has constructed in her mind

She is openly present and honestly with all of her being

Vibrating in the souls of those who choose to connect and experience her energy

She is not afraid to express her emotions and opinions, as time is not patient and is rarely kind to those who do not understand its impermanence

She is not afraid, nor does she host her heart in a glass box guarded by her experiences

She lays a soft hand on the chest of those who need it most and makes them aware of each beat slowing time

Reminding them to experience each moment fully as it was intended.

Many mistaken her as a mirror, reflecting their image back to them as their own thoughts of self worth

As they are afraid to believe the true image before them

For if they were to look without fear, they would see the unconditional image through her eyes.

And realize she is love.

ThisCouldGetPersonal: Ask Kat

I have always felt a profound connection between my thoughts and a pen & paper. Writing has always been my way of self expression when I couldn’t find a way to vocalize the thoughts running through my head.
