Her Space

by Sam Harty

By ᔕᗩᗰ ᕼᗩᖇTYPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

She leaves bruises

like galaxies on my heart.

I look at her, feeling

the distant stars in her eyes,

pulling me into her orbit.

Is the fact that I'm falling

for her any big surprise?

She leaves constellations

branded on my soul

being in her orbit is my

only goal.

"Bruises like galaxies" and "constellations branded on my soul"? Ugh, that's beautiful. It’s like you’re completely consumed by her, but in the best way. I love how it captures that magnetic pull, like you can’t help but want to stay in her orbit. Beautiful poem Sam🤗
