Her Silence
the lonely girl in the middle of a crowded world
By Savannah K. WilsonPublished about a year ago β’ Updated about a year ago β’ 1 min read

πtanding there, the lonely girl cries unnoticed
πn a crowd of thousands, still she feels ... alone
πost to the world, abandoned and unloved
πΌven to herself, in those times of quiet stillness and dark
βot willing to disturb the world, yet wishing to be heard
βrying out with silent voice, no one hears her, no one sees her
πΌxcluded in the crowded world, she is alone, remaining β¦ silenced

This reminded me of the song Nobody's Home by Avril Lavigne. Your poem was so poignant, emotional and relatable. I loved it!
great job on capturing the emotions and that feeling of being invisible. well done!
