Her Silence

the lonely girl in the middle of a crowded world

By Savannah K. WilsonPublished about a year ago β€’ Updated about a year ago β€’ 1 min read

π•Štanding there, the lonely girl cries unnoticed

𝕀n a crowd of thousands, still she feels ... alone

𝕃ost to the world, abandoned and unloved

𝔼ven to herself, in those times of quiet stillness and dark

β„•ot willing to disturb the world, yet wishing to be heard

β„‚rying out with silent voice, no one hears her, no one sees her

𝔼xcluded in the crowded world, she is alone, remaining … silenced

This reminded me of the song Nobody's Home by Avril Lavigne. Your poem was so poignant, emotional and relatable. I loved it!
