Her Love Killed Me

<3

By “M”Published 2 years ago 1 min read

In the shadows of her love, I found my end,

A bittersweet tale, impossible to mend.

Her whispers were like poison in my ear,

Promises tainted with a touch so dear.

Each caress a dagger, piercing through,

Her love, a curse I never knew.

In her embrace, I met my demise,

Lost in the depths of her bewitching eyes.

Her love, a tempest, wild and free,

That chained my heart for eternity.

In her arms, I found both heaven and hell,

A tumultuous story no words could tell.

As her love consumed me, bit by bit,

I succumbed to a fate I could not omit.

In the depths of her gaze, I saw my fall,

Her love, a siren's haunting call.

So here I lie, a victim of her grace,

A prisoner of a love I cannot erase.

In the echoes of my silent plea,

A whispered truth: her love killed me.

I felt the poet's pain. Tragically beautiful.

It is in how you see these kind of relationships that help see what is true.
