In twilight's hush, where shadows play,

A girl arose, with dawn's first ray,

Her heart aflame, with wanderlust's fire,

She packed her bags, with a restless desire.

She left her home, with a heavy heart,

And boarded a train, to play her part,

The city's hum, grew louder still,

As she gazed out, at the passing hill.

The hours ticked by, like falling leaves,

As she watched the world, through the train's eaves.

The sun dipped low, in a fiery glow,

As she arrived, in a city anew to know,

The streets were alive, with a vibrant beat,

And her heart danced, to the rhythm so neat.

She wandered free, through the city's night,

Drinking in, the sights and the light.

But as she walked, with a sense of glee,

A question crept, in her mind, like a spree,

Was this real life, or just a dream?

Was she truly there, or just a fleeting scheme?

The city's sounds, began to fade away,

As she stood still, in a daze of dismay.

And when she opened her eyes, once more,

She found herself, back in her own door,

The train, the city, just a distant hum,

A memory, or just a fleeting whim?

She wondered still, as the sun rose high,

If her journey, was just a passing sigh.
