Go Figure: Got Exit Ramps and Reversal Junctions Currently Underused

Days fly by in swift succession

A fiendish rush to some unknown objective

Heads spin at earth’s axial rotation

bodies forced to eat sleep shower talk work and relax at dizzying rates

interact on slight variations of speed

which makes life even more a puzzle because how could this happen

when were all stood right here nobody blinking nobody breathing

self-isolated viewpoints in self-contained sterility for months on end

to find out the hard way that science fascinates and enriches our minds

but isn’t everything and the un-researchable unexperimented parts of us

needed more than just food water and

the interference of artificially created mechanisms

that all the labs in the world can’t support

soul to heart to spirit connection

relative to planetary existence

a delicate balance taken with presumption

We face dilemmas not destined to exist so now there are roads

we must traverse without a shred of guidance

for the sake of what makes us

US

for how deep internal turmoil festered and brewed

for the sensitive ones who screamed so loud and long we hated them

for how long it took the realization to dawn

of just how much trouble we were in

You can’t Tylenol and Ibuprofen this madness this distortion this pain away

No one saw this apocalyptic-type end violating description

and what else is there to do but abandon experimental research

fall back on simple instruction

and humanity backtrack our steps

Careful focused observation for where we went wrong

crossed intrinsic connections

misunderstandings of what life is really about and

the passion that made our hearts beat

the journeys that now must be taken

the fertile fields now barren

advanced appalled delirium from generations who never bothered to ask

What have we done

What have we done
