I dreamt a dream of a beautiful scene.
I was sat in a heavenly garden surrounded by blooming roses,
Engrossed deeply in a classic romantic novel which was resting peacefully in my palms.
The soft breeze, gently blew my dark long hair
The sun sparkled in my deep brown eyes,
I could hear the distant sounds of tweeting birds,
as they rested in the tall green pine tress surrounding me.
I read out aloud, the words from one of the most romantic of novels; ‘Love in the Time of Cholera’...
“The girl raised her eyes to see who was passing by the window, and that casual glance was the beginning of a cataclysm of love that still had not ended half a century later.”
As the words left my lips,
I glanced down at the most handsome sculptured man I have ever laid my eyes on.
His hair changed into a lighter shade of brown, almost golden, in the sun,
Laying his head peacefully in my lap,
His eyes closed, soaking up the sun.
In the background stood our small home,
Soft Music played throughout the house and travelled its way into our peaceful garden.
The serene voice of Andrea Bocelli, reached my ears, as he sung the most romantic of words of our favourite italian song;
“Quiero tenerte muy cerca,
Mirar me en tus ojos,
Verte junto a mi.
Besame, Besame Mucho.”
And the two lovers eyes met,
Both mirroring,
The deepest of passion of their eternal love
For one another.
