Heartbreak

Emptiness

By BrendonJosephPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the theater of emotions, a tragic scene unfolds,

A tale of love, now fractured, stories left untold.

Heartbreak, the conductor of this mournful play,

A symphony of shattered dreams in the dissonant gray.

Once, the heart soared on love's buoyant wings,

Now it weeps, as fractured memories cling.

A lover's dance, once graceful and divine,

Now a somber waltz, a painful, slow decline.

The canvas of affection, painted with care,

Now streaked with tears, a masterpiece to bear.

Promises whispered in the moonlit haze,

Fading like stars in the dawn's cruel blaze.

Echoes of laughter, now silenced by despair,

In the garden of love, wilted blooms declare

The fragility of passion, a delicate art,

Now trampled upon, tearing the soul apart.

Silent screams reverberate through the night,

A shattered mosaic, once vivid, now in twilight.

In the labyrinth of heartbreak, lost and alone,

The wounded heart, a sanctuary overthrown.

Yet, within the ruins, resilience may rise,

A phoenix of healing, a spirit that defies.

For in heartbreak's aftermath, a chance to mend,

To rebuild, to rediscover, to love again.

So, let the tears fall like gentle rain,

Washing away the echoes of love's sweet pain.

For in the brokenness, a seed may find its start,

A resilient bloom in the garden of the heart.
