Heart Song

3 AM teapot howling in my dreams;

I awaken agitated, tired and angry;

Today has begun with this desire of heart.

Today is harder than it seems;

why is it so hard for them to see;

I take this stride part by part

I see further ahead than most do;

longing for a life that can be lived;

knowing what I hold is easy to find.

Me, myself and I will come through;

the kindness within I will freely give;

as the knowledge grows deep in my mind.

This is the energy I bring

and looking at this now

The dark sheds its light.

and with each step I loudly sing

watching people as they wonder how

i keep shining like stars in the night.

Times are about to change

There is a fire burning within;

We will be free one day.

Life will rearrange;

For freedom is not a sin;

And where there is a will there is always a way!!!
