Knowing It's Coming...

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump.

My end is getting near.

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump.

Human steps that I can hear.

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump.

Tomorrow never comes.

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Preparing for the end.

My heart, a countdown,

I cannot escape.

A few more moments,

Of this sound.

Then no longer I exist.

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump.

Louder than the thunder.

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump.

Then my life is over.

The steps they move,

I cannot escape,

I’m frozen in the darkness.

A sound I will not make.

Da Thump,

Da Thump,

Da Thump.

I feel it’s almost over,

They say it’s over,

It is right now.

While staring into those eyes,

And here it is,

My final moments alive.
